Old school vibes are a guilty pleasure, especially when I accidentally find a car like Victor's 1965 Chevrolet Impala. From the chrome Cragar wheels to the dangling dingle-ball fringes to the lace panels on the rooftop I was hooked. I was lucky enough to find him via my Instagram. Within in days we were to meet up for a chill photo session along with his lady Emily. Here's a few outtakes to drool over.

Getting back to my project: shooting lowrider and kustom/custom cars that I personally like for various reasons: asthetics and whatever floats my boat. This time it's a cool Oldsmobile out of Pomona, California, which was shoot in a local neighborhood the owner used to live near.

It's been a long time since I have posted so I'll just add a few images to see if anyone notices and hopefully I'll be adding more stuff in the near future. Here's a few Fords on this Motor Monday.

New project, sort of....."husk."

So I found this old nest and bird's head while cleaning up around the house; I've shot other weird, "old" dead or discarded things, usually organic and thought I'd finally work them into my lonely blog, lol. I see these things as sublime and either straight black and white or toned. More to come...

I shot like 400 images yesterday and picked out a handful that caught my eye, might even print up a few as well as the black and white images I posted yesterday, enjoy...

Visiting the LA Arboretum and thinking in Black & White...

So I gave myself an assignment or two today. Go for a nature walk at the Los Angeles Arboretum in Arcadia, California, to shoot textures in both color and black and white. It felt nice shooting something different while figuring out what angle and composition to use with whatever light was available. No flash, some Photo Shop and a bit of daydreaming....
